What Is The Difference Between Septoplasty And Rhinoplasty? ?

I have a deviated septum and my Doc wants to do a Septoplasty to fix it. I’m just wondering what the difference is between Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty. Will the appearance of my nose be different as it would with Rhinoplasty? I already tried to look it up on webmd and it didn’t offer too much info on the difference.

No, the appearance of your nose will not be different. Septoplasty simply moves the septum into a normal position, while a rhinoplasty changes the shape of the nose itself.
