I know there is no exercise, that will cause you to lose weight from your hips, just exercises that will cause you to gain muscles around your hips, or at least that is what I’ve been told.
My hips are unusually large and are incredibly embarrassing.

Umm, it does not stop you from gaining the weight back! Liposuction is a quick way to lose weight but it will not change your habits. Now I believe that those that have work really hard to lose weight and they are at a last resort to get rid of the excess (but have a good healhty lifestyle) than i say go for it. But I have a friend who had lipo and her fat came back cause she did not change her lifestyle. Plus if you get it done by the wrong kind of doctor IE BAD or cheap one that you could have permanent damage..Google Lipo Mishaps!

Plastic surgery isn’t the best way to solve things. When I wear my glasses, it always falls down and it’s really annoying! My nose is too flat to hold up my glasses. I asked my friends if I should get plastic surgery, but they said that it might turn out to make my nose crooked (sp?). So if there is anyway to make my nose taller. Please help!

I have kind of a small nose with not much of a bridge (the space between the eyes that holds up glasses). I have the same problem holding up glasses and I’ve finally found that the best things I could do was wear glasses that have nose-pieces or to wear contact lenses.

I’ve thought about surgery too but my friends think I’m nuts.

They have some great styles with nose pieces now…not just aviator looking types.

Is there a limit to how often you get liposuction? Would it be possible to get lipo like once a year or so? I’m really not a fan of diet and exercise but I want to stay trim, so I think lipo is the way to go. Can anyone give me feed back?

That is a dangerous road to go down because lipo is after all surgery and every surgery you have exposes you to complications. Depending on your age and if you are going to a top flight surgeon you could possibly do it several times. Personally I wouldn’t recommend it because there are a lot more benefits to good nutrition and exercise than just staying trim which you will miss out on. Heart and bone health along with reduced susceptibility to depression are just a few.

I haven’t gotten one but I know they can be expensive and should only be used if you really need one. I would suggest diet and exercise first for a few months. Make sure you do high insanity cardio intervals workouts. But if you do go with a tummy tuck make sure you do your research on a good surgeon and spending more money on a well known one is a good idea. Overall it is safe and should be fine but it does have it’s risks.

I’m considering liposuction, and I was wanting to know more about the after-effects. Besides the obvious lowering of fat content, is there any pain or soreness? What happens to the area in which they insert the vacuum (any pus, bruising, etc.)? Would it be something I should take an extended period of time off work for? Basically anything important that I should know beforehand would be helpful.
