One of the most difficult and complex cosmetic surgery known is rhinoplasty. This means that the dissatisfaction rate, after rhinoplasty operation, is high. So, in order to remove or overcome flaws of previous rhinoplasty surgery, or to make further improvement, revision rhinoplasty is performed. Success rate of revision nose rhinoplasty surgery is quite high ass compare to primary nasal surgery or rhinoplasty.
Before opting for another rhinoplasty, i.e. revision rhinoplasty, give your nose enough time to heal, and to adjust to the new appearance. An experienced or skilled surgeon will surely refuse, or will advise you not to opt for another complex rhinoplasty, until or unless any emergency arises. There must be a time gap of nine to twelve months between the primary and revision rhinoplasty surgery. This is because the recovery process of rhinoplasty is very slow.
Even after six months, from the date you had undergone a rhinoplasty surgery, you will suffer from acute swelling and pain. Nose takes a time of twelve months to completely settle down and recover from the previous nasal operation. Many people are initially shocked by the outcomes and results, and feel emotionally stressed, prior to accepting results, and getting used to it.

Revision rhinoplasty is not an easy task and a quite painful process. It takes a longer period to recover, as compare to primary rhinoplasty. It is most important to know that your nose require at least a year to recover from a rhinoplasty surgery. This is not uncommon that, people with high expectations from a rhinoplasty operation, are quite unsatisfied even from the revision process. This is hazardous, and patient can suffer from emotional stress, or even from depression. So, one should try to avoid the revision process, until or unless, any emergency arises.
