I had a tummy tuck over a year ago and things are finally starting to settle in and the scar is softening. My husband and I weren’t planning on having kids for quite awhile but low and behold we created a little miracle! Although we are very excited, I’m a little concerned about how my body will handle the pregnancy. Has anyone had any experience with this? If so, how was your already tightened skin handling the stretching and were there any complications?

I am about to get a tummy tuck and I have found mixed responses to this. I have read on the internet that it can take up to 4-6 months. Is this (up to ) meaning less and rare? Or does it really take that long? I want some personal experiences and what I can expect. My husband is coming back from over sees 2 months after my surgery and I don’t want to look worse than I did before. Please let me know also what shape you were in before and any other information that you can. Thank you
