If you are getting it done by a plastic surgeon i would go for it. you might be a little swollen but overall you’ll be fine. just beware of jumping around too much on the dance floor!
however, if you are getting it done by an ears, nose and throat specialist (ENT) WAIT!!! they have a reputation for botching nose jobs. how do I know…? well I went through that. my rhinoplasty was done by an ENT and at first everything was alright. after I got the stitches out however, my nose collapsed. ENT’s have a common problem with not supporting the nose properly. (and actually they commit insurance fraud quite often too)
So, as long as you are getting it done by a plastic surgeon, you did your research, and typically have no problem recovering from other operations or injuries, I say go for it.

    * When the cast is removed after one week, the nose will look swollen.
    * Usually by the end of the second week, the swelling and bruising have subsided enough that the casual observer will not readily notice that the nose has been operated on.
    * To the patient, the nose will look swollen or “puffy” for several months.
    * By about 3-4 months, the majority of the swelling will be gone but will look larger in photographs.
    * It can take as long as a year for the final shape to become apparent.
    * You should give yourself several months if if there are any work or social engagements that would cause concern.
