How Long To Recover After Rhinoplasty?

okay so i got rhinoplasty/ septoplasty on the 17th. and i thinkmy swelling has gone down a bit and isnt that bad. I get my stitches out tomorrow. and my splint off on friday (a week later). I know they say it takes 2-3 weeks for major swelling to go down but is there anyway to inc. that. i go to college in approx 5 weeks (6 weeks from the day of surgery). will anyone be able to tell and will i be able to start playing basketball again? thanks.

I got mine done the 14th! The day after my 17th bday!
If I were you I’d reaaaallyyyyy be careful about any type of sports. Seriously! I’m not a sports person, thank God. So I don’t have to worry much. But seriously, unless that’s your career I’d reconsider “retiring,” unless you wanna risk your beautiful, new nose.
BUT if you insist, your doctor probably won’t recommend you doing it for several months. But I’m not sure because we didn’t need to talk about that.
When you get your splint taken off, ask him.
