I know I need to be careful of my nose for a long time, but can you still drink a bit? Is it a blood thinner? Just curious.

Rhinoplasty should be taken seriously, just like every other kind of surgery. Everyone heals differently, so you need to see how your body is reacting to the surgery. Any drugs or alcohol need to be approved by your doctor, so the next time you go into your surgeon, ask these important questions.
Personally, I would try to keep your body as healthy as possible during this recovery time by eating right, staying away from alcohol, and getting a little bit of gentle exercise each day.
