How Can Women With Silicone Breast Implants Still Breast Feed?

They can still breast feed because breast augmentation does not interfere with the mammary gland which is what actually gives the milk. The rest of the breast is just fatty tissue.

    The implant are typically behind the pectoral muscle and not in the actual breast. If you do the surgery from the armpit then there shouldn’t be any interference.

    some women that never had surgery can’t breast feed. While the implant, in most cases is separated from the breast by a layer of muscle, there will be some trauma to the tissue in the placement process. This may decrease the likelihood of successful breast feeding. If the milk comes in successfully, many experts think that women with implants can breast-feed safely
