Question by Kara C: How long after a tummy tuck does the swelling go away?
I am about to get a tummy tuck and I have found mixed responses to this. I have read on the internet that it can take up to 4-6 months. Is this (up to ) meaning less and rare? Or does it really take that long? I want some personal experiences and what I can expect. My husband is coming back from over sees 2 months after my surgery and I don’t want to look worse than I did before. Please let me know also what shape you were in before and any other information that you can. Thank you

Question by Horse Expert: Name of top cosmetic surgeon for lipo tummy tuck in India?
Looking for a top surgeon that practices new technique for quick recovery tummy tuck where liposuction is done first and then tummy tuck follows. I am located in the Middle East and this is a close location. However, anywhere within a couple hours flight would be fine too.

Nobody would know who’s the top surgeon for liposuction and tummy tuck in any country in the world, including India…..
You see, top surgeon normally don’t “advertise” and “flaunt” their services indiscriminately. This is because they have the privileged position in their own field and their distinct skill in this kind of surgery speak for themselves. Only those in the “know” or in the inner circle or by spread of word of mouth would these surgeons be patronized.
Anyway, you can start to look for surgeons anywhere in the world with these characteristics: they are board-certified (board here means that the the plastic and cosmetic and liposuction professional board recognized by the government and by the profession itself); qualified; experienced and a true professional in the field of liposuction and tummy tuck. Normally, I would say you can get them in well-established private or government hospitals.
